Glutton
Glutton is a bloated abomination that lumbers along the lower paths of Razorfen Downs, gorging on the corpses of boars and quilboar. Stitched together by the Scourge, he is a level 40 elite with a cloud of disease around him and a habit of getting hungrier, and angrier, as the fight goes on. He is a straightforward melee fight that tests the tank and healer more than anyone else.
Background
Abominations are the Scourge's patchwork brutes, built from the body parts of many corpses. The lich Amnennar the Coldbringer took Razorfen Downs with the help of one of the most powerful of them, Tartek the Enraged, who is said to have killed more than 1,200 quilboar on his own before he fell. Those corpses became Amnennar's undead quilboar army. Glutton was made from Tartek's remains.
True to his name, Glutton has spent his time in the Downs eating the rotting bodies of boars and their quilboar masters. The spoiled meat in his gut gives off a cloud of noxious fumes and disease that sickens anyone who comes close. When he spots the living, he announces that he smells them and means to feast.

Abilities
- Disease Cloud: a cloud of sickness around him deals Nature damage every 3 seconds to everyone within 5 yards.
- Enrage: again and again during the fight, with the emote "Glutton is getting hungry!", he enrages, raising his damage and attack speed.
Strategy
Glutton patrols the lower tier of the Spiral of Thorns, the great ramp of brambles that winds up toward Amnennar.
- Because he moves, he can be pulled alone. Wait for him to reach a quiet spot on his route before engaging.
- Keep everyone except the tank and melee out of his Disease Cloud. Ranged players and the healer should stand well back.
- Each time he enrages, his damage on the tank climbs. The healer needs enough mana for a long fight, and the tank should save defensive cooldowns for the later enrages.
- Melee damage dealers take steady damage from the cloud. They may want to step out and bandage if the healer falls behind.
- There's nothing to interrupt or dispel; the fight is a race of damage against his rising enrage.

Trivia
- Glutton is voiced by Marc Graue, who also voiced several Scarlet Monastery bosses.
- The Lands of Mystery sourcebook for the Warcraft roleplaying game describes Amnennar commanding "a massive abomination" in the Downs, generally taken to be Glutton.
Later history
Cataclysm raised his level to 45. Warlords of Draenor (patch 6.0.2) rebuilt Razorfen Downs and removed him. He returned with World of Warcraft Classic in 2019.
