Golem Lord Argelmach

Golem Lord Argelmach is the Dark Iron master of golems who oversees the Manufactory in Blackrock Depths, where the city's war machines are assembled. He stands in a private room with two elite golems, and when he is attacked he calls every living worker and construct in the Manufactory to his side. Both factions have reasons to kill him: the Alliance needs a document he carries, the Horde wants his head, and his loot includes [Naglering], one of the best-known tanking rings of the Classic era.
Background
The game's later Adventure Guide says Argelmach has spent his life obsessed with escaping death, building enchanted constructs in his own image. Rumor holds that he has studied black magic that would let his spirit move into one of those machines if his body were destroyed.
The Horde quest The Rise of the Machines plays on that idea. The gnome Lotwil Veriatus tells players he killed the real Argelmach years ago and that the golem lord was rebuilt; when players bring back the head, Lotwil finds it is another Dark Iron creation, and warns that yet another will rise in time. Earlier lore also places Argelmach at the capture of the dwarf Thargas Anvilmar during the First War. In World of Warcraft: The Comic, Varian Wrynn cuts off his head when Varian's party comes to Blackrock Depths looking for Marshal Windsor.

Abilities
Argelmach fights as a shaman:
- Chain Lightning: a bolt of 278 to 322 nature damage that jumps to up to five players, getting stronger with each jump.
- Shock: an instant lightning bolt of 273 to 293 nature damage.
- Lightning Shield: three balls of lightning that can strike attackers.
On being attacked he shouts, "Intruders in the Manufactory? My constructs will destroy you!"
Strategy
The fight is decided before it starts. Argelmach's call for help pulls in every technician and golem still alive in the Manufactory, including the Ragereaver Golems and Warbringer Constructs around him, so groups clear the whole area first. The Manufactory lies between the West Garrison and the Grim Guzzler, so most groups clear it on the way through anyway.
Once his room is quiet, the group kills or controls his two golem guards and then focuses Argelmach. Chain Lightning punishes groups that stand close together, so ranged players spread out. His damage is mostly nature, which nature resistance gear or a shaman's totem can soften.
