Lethtendris

This is revision 1, from Oct 29, 2026 04:23. See the current page.

Lethtendris is an elf warlock who has made her lair among the satyrs of Dire Maul East, the Warpwood Quarter. Addicted to magic, she has built a web of sinew and ligament to drain the tainted energy of the ruined city for her own use. She fights alongside her imp, Pimgib, and both the Alliance and the Horde send players into Dire Maul to take her web away.

Background

The warped magic of Dire Maul drew Lethtendris from far away. She hoped it would ease a craving for arcane power that she could no longer satisfy anywhere else. Using the remains of sacrificial victims, she wove a device to siphon the corrupted power out of the east wing, and she found it could store enough strength to destroy all her enemies.

Her own people disowned her for it. The Horde quest calls her a blood elf who defied her kin, and the night elves of Feathermoon Stronghold call her an outlaw mage. In Classic she used a high elf model; patch 2.0.1 gave her a blood elf one.

Abilities

  • Void Bolt: a heavy shadow bolt on one player. It can be interrupted, and it should be.
  • Shadow Bolt Volley: shadow damage to everyone near her.
  • Immolate: fire damage over time.
  • Curse of Tongues: a curse that slows a caster's spells by half.
  • Curse of Thorns: a curse that hurts its target whenever it attacks.
  • Enlarge: she casts it on Pimgib, making him bigger and doubling his casting speed.

Pimgib casts Blast Wave, Fireball and Flame Buffet.

Strategy

Lethtendris stands with a pack of satyrs and Pimgib, so groups clear the satyrs first and then pull the pair. The tank takes Lethtendris, and a second player keeps Pimgib busy or the group kills him quickly; enlarged, he hurts. Interrupting Void Bolt makes the fight much easier, and mages, druids and shamans should remove her curses. Pimgib is flagged as a humanoid rather than a demon, so a warlock can't banish him, and polymorph doesn't work on him either.
