Ossirian the Unscarred
Ossirian the Unscarred is a hawk-headed anubisath champion and the final boss of the Ruins of Ahn'Qiraj. He fights on the Watchers' Terrace at the back of the ruined city, and at full strength almost nothing can hurt him. The raid has to drag him across the terrace to a series of ancient crystals, each of which strips his protection and leaves him weak to one school of magic for a short time. His head, brought back to Cenarion Hold, is the Ruins' trophy quest.
Background
The anubisath are giant stone constructs built by the qiraji to fight in the War of the Shifting Sands. When the bronze dragonflight joined the war, the dragons smashed them by the hundreds. One anubisath found a way to strike back. Ossirian hurled his obsidian sword through the wing of the great bronze dragon Grakkarond and brought him down onto the qiraji lines, where the swarm overwhelmed him. Grakkarond mauled Ossirian almost to death before he fell. The dragon's bones still lie in central Silithus, and the anubisath treat them as a sacred site.

Ossirian's broken body was carried back into the Ruins. He should have died, but the power behind the qiraji, the Old God C'Thun, favored him. When he woke he had a hawk's head and new strength. Emperor Vek'nilash explained the gift: Ossirian's life had been bound to a set of ancient crystals of distant origin, which made him nearly invulnerable, but he would die if he ever strayed too far from them. The other anubisath began calling him "the Unscarred". Legend says Vek'nilash also gave him a secret duty: to watch General Rajaxx and make sure the general never failed the Emperors again.

Abilities
- [[forever:spell:25176]]: Ossirian starts the fight in a "supreme" state. He hits extremely hard, moves fast and resists almost all damage.
- Crystal weakness: pylons stand around the terrace. When a player activates one as Ossirian comes near, he loses his supreme state and becomes weak to one school of magic (fire, frost, nature, shadow or arcane) for a short time. If he goes too long without a new crystal, he becomes supreme again.
- [[forever:spell:25189]]: a whirlwind that stuns his current target for 10 seconds. He ignores the stunned player while it lasts, but keeps their threat.
- Curse of Tongues: slows the spellcasting of everyone near him.
- War Stomp: a short-range blast that damages and knocks back everyone around him.
- Sand vortexes: once he's engaged, sandstorms start wandering the terrace and deal heavy damage to anyone caught in them. A sandstorm also settles over the whole Ruins, making them hard to see.
Strategy
The fight is a moving one. A player, often a rogue on a mount, pulls Ossirian toward the first crystal, and someone activates it just as he arrives, so that he loses his supreme state before he reaches the raid. The tanks pick him up next to the crystal, and the raid switches to whichever school he's now weak to. Mages and warlocks with several kinds of spells, hunters and priests were the key damage dealers, since each window called for a different school. Holy damage isn't affected by the weakness.
Before the weakness runs out, the tanks drag Ossirian to the next crystal while the raid watches for the sandstorms. Because Enveloping Winds stuns the main tank, a second tank stays close to take over. The crystals reappear in new places, so the fight is a tour of the terrace. Hunters can track the sandstorms with Track Elementals and call out where they are.

Trivia
- According to Warcraft Wiki, the game files call Ossirian a horusath, a reference to the Egyptian god Horus, and his name is a nod to Osiris, the god of death and rebirth.
- Warcraft Wiki credits his voice to Marc Graue, who also voiced The Prophet Skeram and Battleguard Sartura.
