Razorfen Kraul
This is revision 1, from Oct 29, 2026 04:23. See the current page.
Razorfen Kraul is a maze of giant thorny vines at the southern edge of The Barrens, home to the boar-like quilboar and their spirit-callers. The dungeon is built for characters around level 29 to 38 and is open to both factions. Its winding paths through the brambles lead to Charlga Razorflank, a quilboar crone who has begun dealing with the forces of undeath.
Background
Quilboar legend says that ten thousand years ago, during the War of the Ancients, the boar demigod Agamaggan fought the demons of the Burning Legion and fell. Where his blood soaked the ground, huge masses of thorny vines grew. The quilboar treat these thickets as sacred and have built their homes inside the largest of them, the Razorfen.

The Kraul is the warren where most quilboar live, packed into tunnels cut through the brambles. Its sister site, Razorfen Downs, lies farther south in Thousand Needles and holds the tribe's burial grounds. In the time of World of Warcraft, the quilboar of the Kraul are led by Charlga Razorflank, an old priestess known as the Crone. She shaped much of the thorn dome over the Downs and has made a pact with the Death's Head, quilboar who have taken up necromancy. Their master is the lich Amnennar the Coldbringer, an agent of The Scourge.

- Charlga Razorflank is a caster who heals herself and casts Chain Bolt, which jumps between players. Interrupt her heals.

History
Razorfen Kraul was part of World of Warcraft at launch in November 2004. Cataclysm (patch 4.0.3a) split the Barrens in two, which put the Kraul in the new Southern Barrens zone.
Later history
Warlords of Draenor's patch 6.0.2 updated the Kraul with a new layout and bosses. The original version returned with World of Warcraft Classic in 2019.
