Tsu'zee

Tsu'zee is the ghost of a night elf rogue who haunts the west wing of Dire Maul. Warcraft Wiki lists her as a rare elite, so many groups pass through the Capital Gardens without seeing her. When she does appear, she fights with a rogue's tricks, blinding and gouging players before stabbing them in the back.

Background

Little is told about Tsu'zee in the game. She is one of the undead Highborne of the Shen'dralar, the night elf mages who survived The Sundering in Eldre'Thalas and who now haunt the west wing as ghosts. Most of them died at the hands of their own prince, Prince Tortheldrin, when he culled his people to keep the demon Immol'thar's power for himself. Tsu'zee's own story isn't recorded, but she is one of the four named undead of the wing, with Magister Kalendris, Illyanna Ravenoak and the bear Ferra.

Abilities

• Backstab: heavy damage, but only from behind.
• Sinister Strike: a strike for extra damage.
• Gouge: incapacitates a player for a few seconds.
• Blind: sends a player wandering in confusion for up to 6 seconds.

Strategy

Tsu'zee is a short fight for a group that has come this far. She has less health than the wing's other bosses and no adds. Her Gouge and Blind on the tank are the main nuisance: each one makes her turn to someone else, often a cloth-wearing healer. Players should be ready to taunt or to pull her back off whoever she turns on, and the healer should stand close enough to the tank to be rescued quickly. A rogue or warrior with a stun can cut her damage further.

Loot

Brightspark Gloves are cloth gloves for casters, the only blue item on her table.

Trivia

• Warcraft Wiki suggests that her name is a reference to Siouxsie Sioux, the singer of the British band Siouxsie and the Banshees.
