Alzzin the Wildshaper
Alzzin the Wildshaper is a satyr illusionist and the master of Dire Maul East, the last boss of the Warpwood Quarter. One of the first students of the satyr lord Xavius, he has taken over a Highborne shrine at the heart of the wing and used its corrupted power, the Felvine, to try to poison the forests of Feralas. He fights in three forms, as a satyr, a bear-like beast and a dire wolf, and calls a swarm of imps when he is hurt.
Background
According to Warcraft Wiki, Alzzin was a gifted arcane illusionist among the Highborne of Eldre'Thalas, and one of the first to follow Xavius when he became a satyr during the War of the Ancients. After the Burning Legion was beaten at Mount Hyjal, he went south to carry on his master's work and corrupt the forests of Kalimdor. On his own he managed little. Then he returned to his old home, the city now called Dire Maul, and found the Shrine of Eldretharr.
The shrine held the Fruit of Fertility, a source of natural life. Alzzin corrupted it into the Felvine and used its power, together with the ancients he and his servant Zevrim Thornhoof had enslaved, to gather the strength of the forest into his lair and shape it as he liked. He also ambushed and killed the night elf priestess Isalien at the shrine, whose spirit returns in the later Dungeon Set 2 quests.

Abilities
In satyr form:
- Enervate: drains mana from a player over a few seconds.
- Wither: nature damage over time that also lowers Strength.
- Thorns: thorns that hurt anyone who strikes him.
In his second form:
- Disarm: disarms the tank.
- Knock Away: knocks his target away.
- Wild Regeneration: heals himself over time.
In Dire Wolf Form:
- Mangle: damage over time and a heavy slow.
- Vicious Bite: a hard bite.
When his health runs low, a horde of Alzzin's Minions, non-elite imps, pour into the room.
Strategy
Old Ironbark opens the door to Alzzin's room after Zevrim dies. Before pulling, groups kill every lasher plant in the room, because any left alive join the fight when the imps arrive. The tank keeps Alzzin facing away from the group, and the healer watches for the disarm, the knockback and Mangle. When the imps appear, area spells clear them in seconds. Mages, warlocks and priests should keep their mana up, since Enervate can empty them.
If the group wipes, players can drop down from the entrance into the area where Old Ironbark stood to get back to Alzzin quickly.
