Stomper Kreeg

This is revision 1, from Oct 29, 2026 04:23. See the current page.

Stomper Kreeg, "The Drunk," is the Gordok ogres' brewer and boozer in Dire Maul North. He is usually passed out on duty, but nothing sends him into a rage faster than the sound of his ale hitting the floor. Leave him alive on a tribute run and he hails the new king and opens his stock of Gordok hooch, selling drinks that buff the whole group.

Background

Kreeg is one of King Gordok's henchmen in the Gordok Commons, alongside Guard Mol'dar, Guard Fengus, Guard Slip'kik, Captain Kromcrush and Cho'Rush the Observer. The game's Adventure Guide says more than one sneaking assassin has met their end by knocking over Kreeg's mug. He is a lazy guard, but a dangerous one when roused.

After the king falls, Kreeg is happy to serve the new boss: "You da boss now, yeah? Long live da new king!" He brags that ogre hooch is the best hooch, and Gordok hooch the best of all.

Abilities

  • Booze Spit: sprays booze in a cone, cutting the chance to hit of everyone caught in it by 75%.
  • War Stomp: knocks back everyone near him.
  • Whirlwind: damage to everyone within 8 yards.
  • "You made me spill my drink!": at half health he flies into a Drunken Rage, attacking faster, moving at double speed and dropping his target's threat each time he lands a blow.

Strategy

When killed, Kreeg is a messy fight because of the Drunken Rage. Once he starts wiping threat, he bounces between players, so every player should be ready to take a few hits and healers should keep everyone topped up. Melee players stay out of the cone in front of him to avoid the Booze Spit.

Most groups leave him alone. Kreeg doesn't add an item to the Gordok Tribute chest the way the guards do; his tribute is his shop. As a vendor he sells [Gordok Green Grog], [Kreeg's Stout Beatdown], [Evermurky], [Molasses Firewater] and [Volatile Rum]. Gordok Green Grog adds Stamina and Kreeg's Stout Beatdown adds Spirit, and both became popular with raiders, since they can only be bought here.
